" This is the farm I helped my papa establish... there were bears, lions, coyotes, etc. My dad used to think all I did was run off the coyotes... that's funny... he had no idea. I remember how much he loved me, and his respect for me, and my instinctive ways. He'd never seen a dog doing it's "natural thing", rather than being manipulated to fit man's mold. Papa got the same joy and satisfaction from God's creation that I did. And His creatures. He used to want to be close to me SO much... after a couple years, I'd go to his side and enjoy the closeness he wanted so much. " |
